Resource Development Classes

Supporting the Depth, Mastery, and Expansion of Your Coaching Practice

At Radiant Health Institute, we believe great coaches aren't just trained they're transformed. That’s where our Resource Development (RD) classes come in.

These live sessions are designed to complement your ICF Core Competency training by focusing on the deeper tools and practices that make your coaching more powerful, intuitive, and sustainable. RD hours emphasize personal growth, coaching presence, practical tools, and expanded knowledge all essential for holistic, transformational coaching.

Topics may include:

  • Trauma-informed coaching approaches

  • Subconscious reprogramming and mindset mastery

  • Somatic awareness and nervous system regulation

  • Sound healing, energy hygiene, and intuition

  • Ethical marketing, business alignment, and client attraction

  • Emotional intelligence, identity work, and leadership embodiment

⏱️ How Resource Development Hours Count Toward Certification

The ICF allows a maximum of 20% of your total live training hours to come from Resource Development. The remaining 80% must be focused on ICF Core Competencies.

Here’s how that breaks down:

Credential Level                           Total Required Hoursfor Grad.                   Live Class Hours Needed (50%)     RD Hours Allowed (20%)
ACC (Level 1)60 hours30 hours6 hours
PCC (Level 2)125 hours62.5 hours12.5 hours

✅ RD hours are optional, but highly encouraged. They do not replace required ICF core classes, but they add valuable depth and dimension to your training.

✨ Why These Classes Matter

Our RD classes aren’t just filler they’re a strategic investment in your personal evolution as a coach. These sessions stretch you beyond techniques and into embodiment. They help you develop the inner capacity, emotional resilience, and energetic alignment needed to hold space for others at the highest level.

Together with your Core Competency training, Resource Development classes equip you to become the kind of coach who doesn’t just check the boxes but changes lives.

ICF CORE Classes

Master the Science, Structure, and Soul of Professional Coaching

Core Competency classes are the heart of your live coach training experience at Radiant Health Institute. These sessions are fully aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) standards and support your journey toward becoming an ethical, effective, and transformational coach.

In our live classes, you’ll deepen your mastery of the ICF Core Competencies the skills that distinguish coaching from therapy, consulting, or mentoring and practice them in real time with expert faculty and fellow students.

📚 What You’ll Learn in Core Competency Classes

Every Core class is mapped to specific ICF Core Competencies, including:

  • Demonstrates Ethical Practice

  • Embodies a Coaching Mindset

  • Establishes and Maintains Agreements

  • Cultivates Trust and Safety

  • Maintains Presence

  • Listens Actively

  • Evokes Awareness

  • Facilitates Client Growth

These aren’t passive lectures. Our sessions are interactive, practical, and designed to give you coaching reps, real-time feedback, and experiential learning that builds deep confidence.

⏱️ How Core Hours Count Toward Certification

The ICF requires that at least 80% of your total professional training hours come from Core Competency education. At Radiant, 50% of your total required hours are completed through live Zoom classes (the other 50% through structured self-study modules and assignments).

Here’s how that breaks down:

Credential Level                                Total Required Hours                           Live Class Hours (50%)      Core Hours Needed (80%)
ACC (Level 1)60 hours30 hours24 hours (Core)
PCC (Level 2)125 hours62.5 hours50 hours (Core)

✅ The remaining 20% of your live training hours can come from Resource Development classes, which complement but do not replace Core training.

Group Mentor Sessions

Elevating Your Coaching Through Feedback and Mastery
Mentor Coaching at Radiant Health Institute is a cornerstone of your professional development as a coach. These sessions are specifically designed to meet the International Coaching Federation (ICF) requirements for credentialing and are separate from your core coach-specific education hours.

Unlike your live Core Competency classes, Mentor Coaching focuses entirely on you as a coach, providing feedback on your real coaching practice, sharpening your skills, and deepening your alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.

What Mentor Coaching Is (and Why It Matters):
The ICF defines Mentor Coaching as a series of coaching and feedback sessions where an experienced, credentialed coach observes your coaching and helps you refine your skills in real time.

This Process:
  • Builds confidence in your ability to coach at a professional level

  • Identifies blind spots and growth areas in your coaching practice

  • Strengthens your embodiment of the ICF Core Competencies

  • Prepares you to meet the standards expected at the credential level you’re pursuing

Mentor Coaching is not about theory. It’s about practice, feedback, and growth.

How Mentor Coaching Works:
To meet Level Certification requirements, you must complete 10 total Mentor Coaching sessions:

7 group sessions
3 one-on-one sessions

Attendance is taken for each session. Once you have attended your 7th group session and completed your 3rd one-on-one session, you will have met the ICF requirement for Mentor Coaching.

If you want or need additional mentoring beyond those 10 required hours, extra sessions are available for purchase through our Radiant School Store.

How These Hours Count Toward Certification:
Your Mentor Coaching hours are in addition to your coach-specific education hours. These sessions are tracked separately and must be completed before you can apply for your ICF credential.

Why These Sessions Matter:
While classes give you the knowledge, Mentor Coaching gives you the edge.
It’s where the skills you’ve learned in class come alive and where you receive personalized, constructive feedback that elevates you from competent to confident.

Mentor Coaching is where coaches step into mastery. It’s the safe, supportive environment where you practice, get evaluated, and grow into the coach you are meant to be.
